COVID-19

As of 14/06/2023 the recommendation for COVID-19 is for everyone aged 18 and over to get a booster vaccination for COVID-19 6 months after your last vaccination or infection.

When determing tour next booster, only the time since the last vaccination or infection is important to determine if you should get a booster.

Twin Waters Pharmacy offers the latest Bivalent vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer. ATAGI recommends these vaccines for everyone 12 years and over.

For people who can’t use the vaccines recommended above the Novavax vaccine is another alternative available.

Children aged 5-11 years old can also receive their vaccines at Twin Waters Pharmacy.

Influenza (Flu)

We provide Influenza vaccines for anyone aged 6 months and over including the specific over 65 vaccination, so you can keep up to date quickly and easily.

** Queensland Health has announced a free flu vaccination program to run from 2024. **

Subsidised Flu Vaccinations

The National Immunisation Program allows us to provide subsidised Influenza vaccines to people covered by the program however, as we receive no funding for the service of administering vaccines there is a $20 charge for these vaccines.
