Our pharmacists can assess and manage the following conditions: 

  • Acute Conditions: 

    • Acute exacerbations of mild plaque psoriasis 

    • Minor wound management 

    • Acute nausea and vomiting 

    • Acute otitis externa (ear infection) 

    • Acute otitis media (ear infection) 

    • Allergic and nonallergic rhinitis (hay fever) 

    • Gastro-oesophageal reflux and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (reflux) 

    • Herpes zoster (shingles) 

    • Hormonal contraception 

    • Impetigo (school sores) 

    • Management for overweight and obesity 

    • Mild to moderate acne 

    • Mild to moderate atopic dermatitis 

    • Mild acute musculoskeletal pain 

    • Smoking cessation 

    • Travel health 

    • Oral health risk assessment and fluoride application 

  • Chronic Conditions (for eligible patients): 

    • Asthma symptom control 

    • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) monitoring 

    • Cardiovascular risk reduction 

  • Hormonal Contraception: 

    • Initiation and continuation of oral contraceptive pills (OCPs) 

 
 

Consultation Costs 

All prescribing consultations are privately billed. There are no Medicare or PBS subsidies for these services or any prescriptions issued.

Pharmacist prescribing consultations are available: 

Monday: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM 

Tuesday: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM - Alternate Weeks 

Thursday: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM 

Friday: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM 

Walk-ins are welcome, but bookings are recommended to ensure availability.

  • No Guarantee of Prescription: A consultation does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued. Pharmacists will assess your condition and determine the most appropriate course of action. 

  • No Medicare or PBS Rebates: All services and prescriptions provided under this program are privately billed and not eligible for Medicare rebates or PBS subsidies. 

  • Consent Required: Patients must provide informed financial and clinical consent prior to receiving services.
